I know how to cut through the old dirt roads to get there. Iwas there about 33 yrs. ago standing right in front of the entrance which was abandoned at that time,if you know your way around there you can actually drive over to the cut area through the mountain and look down at the new turnpike highway at the traffic. The vehicles look like ants at the bottom.
